Peggy and Joan are my favorites...

Unless you've been living under a really big rock for the last year or so, you'd know that the season premier of Mad Men airs Sunday night. I know I've said that Friday Night Lights is the best show on tv...I forgot about Mad Men. It's really a tie between the two. For me. I don't know about you. You might be into So You Think You Can Dance. Which is fine. It's just not what I'm into.

In honor of Mad Men, I've posted a picture of my grandparents--my mom's parents. They are no longer alive, but weren't they classy looking? I think so. They have an interesting story--an American GI goes to London during WWII, meets a British girl, marries British girl and takes her back to US--DC area to be exact, all kinds of crazy drama ensues over the next 20 years. My mom needs to write a book, really.

I spent some time on the AMC website and was made over--Mad Men style. Try it.

That's me in the green. I tried a lot of different looks, but I think, at the end of the day (a 1963 day), this is what I'd go with. I wish I had Joan's waist, but it wasn't an option.

So funny. I love your 1960's outfit. :)

I'm a little behind on Mad Men, but I think it's an amazing show and am curious to see what happens this season!

I have the first [few?] seasons in my Netflix queue. I keep wanting to get into it but it just hasn't happened yet.

Oh Mad Men... Bob and I can't get enough. Peggy and Joan are my favorites to but pathetic Betty is pretty entertaining. I can't stand it with commercial breaks. That show was not made for commercials. They never seem to happen at the right time. And we don't have TiVo so we can't skip them. Tempted to get TiVo so we don't have to wait for the season to come out on DVD. Hmmmm I had better get on that, fast.
Thanks for the Mad Men reminder.

I am freaking out over this show. I can't wait. I'm convinced I will love it since you are saying it is just as good as FNL.

Did I know you were seriously a quarter British?? I don't think so.
