Last week was crazy. We had more things on our to-do list than normal and that made for some crazy days and a really crazy Momma.
But. We had a A LOT of fun visiting family and celebrating Caleb's 1st birthday a few weekends ago.
We spent Saturday morning boating on Newport Harbor. So pretty. It was one of the cooler things I've done down there. I really enjoyed it. I think the kids did too. I DIDN'T like the part where we had to go out to the bouy to see the seals though. We were in total open ocean and the swells were big. I'm not into open ocean in a small boat. Ryan jumped in. He loves to jump in the ocean--doesn't matter what time of year or how cold the water is, he's in.
We docked for a bit and played at a great park right on the harbor. Good day with the cousins.
Next up...Caleb's birthday celebration...

Oh I don't do little boats in the ocean, big boats either. I am the queen of seasickness. Looks pretty though!
oh I didn't see these photos! looks like so much fun. bummer we couldn't make it. I'm sure Ave and Lilly would have been pirates together. Did I tell you when I babysat them they were being pirates? Totally.
Great photos, Jen! I've missed you and your posts too!
Okay, enough of a break, you can come back now.
