But, the best part of the day was when we went to Home Depot. I've been thinking that all these home projects of mine would be much, much easier if I had a bad a** power drill. So, after a little research, I knew what I needed.
Isn't it pretty. I used it this weekend to hang some shelves. I felt so powerful using it. Giddy too. I love it. I could go down and hang out at the construction site and I'd totally fit in--no one would would give me a second look as long as I had my drill with me. Everyone needs one. I imagine it makes putting IKEA stuff together a breeze, among other things.
On the Lilly front..she's sick AGAIN. I took her to the doctor on Friday because her cough had gotten bad again. Her cough was bad, yes, but we also discovered she had ANOTHER ear infection. So, that would explain the fever she had been running. She's back on a antibiotic ( a stonger one) and we are back to sleepless nights.
And this crawling thing...
She's into everything. She's all over the place. She's climbing up on things and then getting stuck there. People were right when they told me to enjoy her while she's NOT mobile. Well, those days are clearly over. O.V.E.R.
But, she's still cute, so we'll keep her.

I had to buy a power drill in our first year of marriage. I think I have used it more than Ben. I love it. I feel so capable when using it.
Ugh, I can't believe poor Lilly is sick again. Georgia has her first bad cough right now and I'm so sad for her. I don't think there's really anything I can do about it either now that all that cough/cold medicine for kids is banned.
Funny the rush using those power tools will give you - love it!
