I bought this lamp from Crate & Barrel weeks ago, but haven't been able to hang it because my do-it-yourself skills don't include wiring know how.
I don't really want to pay someone to come hang this thing. I get really bugged at projects like this. I mean, here I am trying to decorate our new house and after spending hours and hours vacillating between whether to put a ceiling fan or a pendant light above the kitchen table, I finally decide.
And then it sits in a corner for 2 months because I'M ELECTRICALLY CHALLENGED.
Lame.
There must be a way for me to get this thing hung. I'm sort of talking myself into trying to do it myself. Otherwise, I have to track someone down to do it for me. I suppose I could just walk down to the construction site (they are still building our condos) and beg someone to do it. I have to do something because it's driving me absolutely nuts to see it sitting in the corner. I can't take it anymore.

Just remember that if you do it yourself- turn off the electricity first so you don't electrocute yourself!!!!!
I don't follow instructions very well. I would fail miserably at this.
I say save yourself the stress & pay for an electrition. Or at the very least a good friend/neighbor/construction worker who knows what she/he is doing.
