Husband still gone...but off the mountain

He's off the mountain and now roaming around with African animals.

I got an email yesterday saying he had made it off of Mt. Kilimanjaro in one piece.

Thank goodness.

He said it was hard and crazy, but he's really glad he did it. You'll have to wait for his blog post to hear the details. I really miss him these days. I think a week was fine, but now it's getting a little long. Plus, I keep getting the worst cramps in my feet and he's not here to rub them out! I'm having one right now and it's ridiculous how much it hurts. I'm in trouble come labor time if I can't handle a foot cramp. Oh dear.

I went to Nordstrom tonight and bought new bras. I had to. I won't go into specifics, but things are getting larger in places other than my belly. Therefore, a trip to Nordstrom that resulted in a few very practical and not very pretty bras. I was too tired iand too pregnant to roam around the other departments to check out the half-yearly sale stuff. I'm like Eeyore from Winne the Pooh--I roam around the stores now moaning to myself..."It just doesn't matter what's on sale, I can't wear any of it anyway..."

I want baby Uggs. I want adult Uggs.

My sisters are asking my mom if I'm getting fat...meaning, they want to know if I look like I'm pregnant or if I just look fat. That's how we roll in my family. There's no beating around the bush. Thanksgiving should be interesting.

I'm so tired. And I'm really over 10th graders. If you are a 10th grader, I'm sorry, but I probably wouldn't like you.

Tomorrow I'm getting the oil changed in my car, the tires rotated, buying catfood, and grading papers. Doesn't that sound like the most interesting Saturday?

I miss Ryan. I hope the lions and gazelles appreciate him.
