I wish every week was a two day week. Life would be awesome. We'd have weekends every two days! Oh what I wouldn't give.
I made it to Thanksgiving break. This is when everyone (teachers) say it gets easier for student teachers. You start to get in a groove and before you know it, you're having to prepare your final. Counting nex week, I have six more weeks of student teaching. I can't believe it's almost over. Since I can't accept any of the jobs I've been offered for the spring (I'm having a baby, remember?), I'm planning on subbing 3 days a week--at least until I am no longer walking, only waddling. We'll see how it goes.
Ryan is finally coming home!!! I pick him up tomorrow at SFO. I just checked his itinerary and if all is going as it should, he's on his flight from Tanzania to Amsterdam right now. The flight is in the air, so he better be on it. I'm hoping he emails me when he gets to Amsterdam in 6 hours.
Until then, it's tivo for me and reading--a book that I want to read, not one I have to read. Right now I'm reading Reading Lolita in Tehran. I just started it, so I can't say much about it, but I'm excited to get into it. I'll let you know how it's going.

It does get easier from here. I tell ya, November and December are great months for teachers. Just don't expect much from them the couple of weeks before Christmas. I learned that the hard way! They are just as unmotivated as us teachers. Hang in there Jen! You are almost officially a teacher! Call me when you get to Redding. I'm heading up tomo morning...
definitely let us know about Reading Lolita in Tehran. I have almost bought that book several times, but end up picking something else up.
