CAUGHT!

Oh, I knew it! I knew our cats were doing more than just napping all day! Today, when I came home to get ready for work, I noticed there were a few books that had been knocked off the bookshelf and were laying OPEN on the floor. I thought..."hmm...this is strange." But, really, it's not strange at all. Why, our cats have been reading while we are gone all day! That is the only thing to explain why they are always so tired, and why there are books on the floor.

I looked closer to see what they had been reading...My grammar book was laying open to the section on "fragments." Uh-huh, just a little light reading on sentence structure...nothing too crazy.

The other book that was on the floor surprised me a little, maybe even shocked me. It was Woman: An Intimate Geography. The book did win a Pulitzer... so at least Pip and JP are being smart about their reading choices.

Ryan and I are such good examples. Our cats are inheriting our love of reading.

You think I'm making this up, but I'm not. I really did find books on the floor and one really was my grammar book and it was really open to the section on "fragments."
