We've been on the Delaware shore for two days now. We are already in a lovely little routine: Breakfast, beach, lunch, naps, beach, dinner, bed. It"s pretty much awesome. Ryan woke up this morning and before we got out of bed, I reminded him that it was only day two of 14 days. He sighed a sigh of relief. If feels so good to not have to think about our return trip...vacations should be a mandatory two weeks.
The kids are still getting used to the sand and surf, but we are determined to get them out there for a few hours everyday. Caleb was so tired today that he just put his little head down on his blanket and went to sleep under the umbrella. He's been so good. Both kids were awesome on the flights over. No whining, no freaking out, no crying.
My sisters and Juice get here tomorrow. Bocce Ball and kite flying are about to get serious.
Pictures will probably be courtesy of the iPhone--I didn't bring my computer.
I'm reading The Thorn Birds and it's so good.

Two weeks! Amazing. That should be a rule.
Bocce Ball is soooo fun. Sounds like you are having a blast. Wish I was an Olsen right about now.
Have so much fun Jen. Still can't believe you're THERE while I'm HERE, but maybe our timing will work out better next summer & you can play in NYC with me for a few days.
Oh, & friends tell me the humidity is hovering around 91% right now, so maybe it's best neither of us are there.
love, love the iPhone updates. Tell me you will continue them. and take a couple pictures of all the beach houses just because they are so perfectly east coast beach...
Whoa, both kids were awesome on the flights!! That in and of itself will start a vacation off on the right foot. Enjoy!!
