Zoo

We went to the zoo yesterday. We did a few laps around our favorite animals, rode the train and the carousel And then, after all of that, we stopped by the park for a bit.

They were exhausted by the end the day. And really, really dirty. But, it was a great day.

My goal was to have them (mostly Lilly) in bed by 7pm. She crashed on my bed as soon as her jammies were on. Goal attained.

(They could hardly contain themselves when the train conductor was doing his "All Aboard!" call)

(They are really starting to play together...Caleb is growing up way too fast...)

(Checking out the giant turtles)

You're a wonderful mom, Jen. What a fun day for you! My mom would never take me to the zoo...too smelly she said. And we lived less than ten miles from the National Zoo for heaven' sake. Thank goodness for those Saturday visits with Dad - or I would never have gone.

Pics are so sweet. Love, love, love those kids.

L isn't wearing 7 jeans, is she?

Suzanne...they are Joe's Jeans--cut-off's. I found them on some crazy sale rack at The Rack.

I like these kinds of days too. Go, go, go all day...you don't have time to realize you are tired and then the kids drop into bed at 7 and you have a good three hours.

They look cute. I wish I had a zoo by me now.
