I find it hard to believe, but I'm in a sort of nesting mode already. I want all excess out of my life. I want all the trash out of the house and if it hasn't been worn, used, or looked at in a year, it's on its way out.
This is what I've been doing over the last couple of days. It's been fun.
Lilly and I spent a few days at my parents house last week and as always, I owe my parents big time for helping out with Lilly. I basically don't lift a finger when we go up there...Nana does it all. Nana also never says no to Lilly, so I'm usually NOT the one Lilly is interested in hanging out with anyway. We got home on Monday and I'm still hearing, "Nana?" from Lilly all day long.
While I was with my mom, I dragged her to the fabric store to pick out the stuff I want her to use for baby boy's blankets. My mom crocheted the blanket I brought Lilly home with and she still sleeps with it every night. I thought baby boy would want one too.
My hips are starting to ache by the end of the day...a sure sign that things are getting bigger all around. I've also been having some nasty insomnia lately...just a few of the joys of pregnancy.
Lilly pooped. I have to go.

Hi Jen! I'm glad you are nesting, that sounds so fun! My hips ache too (like crazy)... have been since the second month of pregnancy. The funny thing is I wake up in the morning and they are usually 90% better and by bedtime the pain/ache is back. It will be over soon though! I know tennis isn't helping my situation but I figure the pleasure outweighs the pain (at least for now)! Miss you!
try extra vitamin b6 to sleep. that's what i just read. i take one before i go to bed (actually for nausea) with half a unisom and it helps.
i love homemade blankets! glad you got to pick out the fabric, though. some boy stuff can be so annoying with ducks and bears and the like. i know you have good taste.
