Lindsey, remember when you told me about that in London?? About how people in your ward were saying stuff to you? Well it totally happened to me recently- a girl in my ward sat down next to me in Relief Society and started talking to me like we were BFF, even though she had never previously given me the time of day. She somehow discovered my blog, so now she knows "everything" about me.
Anyway.
I like not being private (fun to find friends, blog surf, etc), but I don't have little kiddos to worry about either, I suppose- so I get why some people do it. Oh, and of course there are the random mean people who leave comments on my blog. Oh well.
Oh- and PS, I have lots (okay, a few) of friends who blog... who aren't LDS. It's spreading outside of our culture.
I don't actually mind the randoms. It is just the people I kind of know at church who go spread my blog around the ward. For some reason I need to keep my life somewhat private from them!
I live in California with Ryan and our babies: Lilly and Cal. I was a high school English teacher, but now I'm a mom. I like good books, laughing with my family, and pretty things.

It bugs me too, and yet I am private. I wish I weren't though, but everyone in my ward/stake started sending the link around and it was just weird!
I sometimes wonder if this family blogging thing is a Mormon phenomenon.
I agree with the whole private issue. I just have never felt that paranoid about weirdos finding us.
I did have a lady in my ward put my blog link up onto some Relief Society blog that she made and that was annoying, so I can see Lindsey's point.
I'm private and have no regrets! However I do get annoyed when people I blog stalk go private, he he he
I know...I'm a master blog stalker and I think that's the only reason it bugs me.
ME TOO!
