Balls and balloons. Everywhere we go it's, "Ball, ball, ball."And if we see a balloon somewhere, forget about it.
We went to Trader Joe's this morning on the way home from her 18 month check-up and she's been carrying her balloon around ever since. She likes to say, "I got it!" Forget the fact that she "had it" all along. It's pretty cute though.
She's still in the 90th percentile for weight and height. Gotta love a 10 lb baby!
Shots were a bummer. I feel so bad for her and there was A LOT of blood this time because Lilly was squirming all around and the nurse couldn't get the band-aid on fast enough. It's weird to see your child's blood--sorta creepy in a strange way. I don't know what I mean by this...just that it was weird for me.
Here's hoping I can pry her away from her balloon so she can take a nap. It might get interesting.
I got new furniture, by the way. The good news is that Ryan loves it. I'll post pictures sometime soon.

Oooh, I really want to see the furniture pics!!
I still remember how much Ryan loved your old sofas! ;-)
Oh yeah, Ryan wasn't shy about telling me how badly I screwed up on our first big furniture purchase.
Where did your old bad couches go? Glad he loves the new ones.
Lilly, such a cute girl. Miss her.
Jennifer--Thanks for saying hello!
We have really enjoyed our rug. We got it from Sansom Shag Rugs: http://sansomshagrugs.com/
They were pretty good to order from, just be sure about the color you are ordering as they don't allow for returns. However, they do mail out sample colors. Also, if you decide to get one, you might want to invest in a carpet rake.
Your little Lilly is a doll!
