A Tuesday...

As I sit typing this, Lilly is crawling all over the living room and kitchen. She's probably picking up pieces of her dinner that she threw on the floor. I try to get all her "no thank-you's," but sometimes I miss a few little morsels.

This seems to be the hardest part of the day--for her and for me. Things get tough around 4pm and stay that way until she goes to bed. I've been told this is a universal tough time for mothers.

She wants desperately to pound on my keyboard.

I have nothing to say. It's been a peaceful couple of days around here, and in an effort to be more budget friendly, we are keeping ourselves busy at home, outside, and at the gym. Anything to stay out of the stores. At least for a few days.

I'm making veggie burgers and potato wedges for dinner tonight. Yum. I'm back on my diet and I'm hungry.

I'll try blogging about something more captivating later, but right now I'm busy. I have apple sauce in my hair, there is a piece of chewed up hot dog stuck to the bottom of my foot, and I have to decide what to do with a week old bottle of milk I just found under Lilly's crib...do I dare open it and attempt to wash it? I'm thinking no. Compelling stuff I'm dealing with here, no?

I really liked this post. One, Lilly's smile in the top picture is exactly what makes her so cute. And the bottom picture - it seems like every baby makes that determined face when they are figuring something out. Or maybe it's just that Avery and Lilly have the same one?

I'd seriously just throw the whole bottle away...

Love her smile! And her hair is really growing in - so cute. Oh I remember those bottles (actually, just found some fermented apple juice from two weeks ago in a bag). Sometimes I stick close to home just to be more budget friendly too.

Good post, Jen. I love when you post pictures of Lilly because I don't get to see her that much, unlike oh...her NANA. Not fair. Did I tell you I found a pair of Lilly's socks in my bag? I smell them sometimes...
