We've had a bit of rain and wind here over the last 24 hours. The wind was the worst, and couple it with the fact that it was trash day here in the community of Natomas, and you've got a recipe for a trashy disaster. There was so much trash floating around our neighorhood this morning you would have thought someone moved the county landfill down to our side of Sactown.My wellies came in handy today...for sure. I was all over the place in my wellies...picking up trash, unclogging drains, and schlepping our Christmas tree back from down the road. SMUD, our local utility company, should have paid me for my duties. No, no, no. I did it out of the goodness of my heart. My wellies make my heart bigger.
I've been eating way too many peanut butter cups from Trader Joe's. They are that good.

I wish I had some wellies. Yours are very cute where are they from? As I am sure you can imagine we were hit with (still being hit) that same storm. Just add massive amounts of snow to that same wind you have. Let's just say I have not stepped outside once today.
Heidi...I got them at Costco! They were only $17. Love Costco.
