When all of my kids were little and got sick, or were driving me crazy and things were hard, I used to ask myself, "What could I be doing that is more important than taking care of this sick kid?" There never seemed to be a very good answer. So I put the next load of pukey smelling sheets in the laundry, and snuggled in the rocking chair and read Ferdinand one more time.
1. shopping 2. out with friends 3. movies and books 4. traveling
Well, she wouldn't say it's more "important," but she'd rather be doing it than cleaning up after the curse of the damned which is pretty much what's happened here.
Well, there is a difference between what's "important" and what I might "enjoy" doing!! I would agree with your list if we are talking about what would be more enjoyable!!!
I live in California with Ryan and our babies: Lilly and Cal. I was a high school English teacher, but now I'm a mom. I like good books, laughing with my family, and pretty things.
