Isobel is cuteWe went to Panera and caught up over soup and bread--how much better can an afternoon with good friends get?
Not much better. I'm telling you that much.
And it was so fun to meet Lindsey's sister, Kelly. I feel like I know people when I've really never even met them--because I lurk on their blogs so often. Kelly is one of those people. BUT, now I know her!
Our meeting was much too short and we all agreed we could have hung out forever. It's so nice to be with people who "know" you. It's so easy.
What wasn't so easy this weekend was dealing with a sick child. Lilly went to bed Saturday night and woke up a few hours later covered in puke. Real puke, not baby puke. It was her (and my) first time with this sort of thing and so we were a little frazzled. Ryan had gone out for a few hours and so there I was, standing in the bathroom, trying to get her in the tub while simultaneously being thrown up on and bawling my eyes out. I'll admit, I was a little bit of a mess--it was scary. After a long, long night, a lot of laundry, a few messy diapers, and some rest, Lilly (and I) are doing much, much better. Ryan got home just in time and took great care of us. I think I'll be better prepared for the next time this happens...at least I hope so.

Jen you are beautiful and it really was sooo good to chat and hang out yesterday. can't believe it has really been 4 years since we were roomies living in London. I am sorry to hear Lilly was sick last night- that is no fun (for either of you). I never would have guessed she was sick when I saw her- her smile and hand gestures at me really made me melt- what a sweetie!
I want to be in that picture with the three of you!! :) How fun. Cute girls.

I already miss you girls! So much fun. I wish we didn't have to leave. I could've spent the whole day with you two and it still wouldn't be enough time! Lilly is adorable and yes, like Heidi said, you are beautiful and you have great taste. Can't wait until next time!

what a fun reunion! and how crazy about Lilly. Those kind of things are always hard to handle on your own. I hope she gets feeling better soon and that she doesn't pass it on to you!
