YOU ARE A MURDERER OF LOVE...

It's a miracle, but Ryan and I have managed to see not one, but TWO movies in the theatre this past month. We did have to drive two hours north on I-5 one Saturday to have my parents babysit while we went and saw Gone Baby Gone, but it was worth the drive. And, I guess we did fly to OC to hang out with family and see Dan in Real Life, but it was worth the flight. It looks like we have to travel out of town to see a movie these days. That's a little bit sad. I need to find a babysitter locally, I guess.

We saw Gone Baby Gone a few weeks ago and it's still haunting me. It is such an amazingly well-told story. It's heartbreaking and joyful all at the same time, which makes for a pretty crazy emotional roller coaster of a movie. It's one of those movies that has you thinking for days afterward, "What would I have done?" Ben Affleck directed it and his brother, Casey Affleck, stars in it. I think Casey might be considered for an Oscar--he was that good.

We saw Dan in Real Life with Juice and Brianne this past weekend. It was a cute movie with a lot of laughs. I highly recommend it if you are in the mood for a feel good flick. We laughed A LOT and that's saying something coming from us--we are tough critics when it comes to comedies. Dan is a single dad to three girls--two of which are teenagers and full of all sorts of wacky teen drama. The title of this post will make much more sense once you've seen this movie. Promise.

We are really into Friday Night Lights (the t.v. show) right now. We sort of stubbled upon it. I don't even know how it happened...but one day, we were addicted to it. We didn't see the first season, so I guess we'll have to rent it, but that's cool because it'll give us something to look forward to every night for at least a week. We are also watching The Office, House, and CSI: Las Vegas. We ONLY watch Las Vegas when it comes to CSI. None of those other CSI wannabees. Ryan is watching Life, but I'm not. I'm anxiously awaiting the return of the greatest show ever--Project Runway-- on November 14th. In the meantime, I'm still watching and loving, Gossip Girl.

So, that's what we've been doing with the t.v. lately. In case you cared.

Carry on.

Friday Night Lights is one of my husband's very favorite shows. He watched it all last year too. It is filmed in Austin and he has a fondness for that city so that is what got him watching in the first place. Anyway, sometimes I watch it with him but not always, I am not completely sold yet.

We loved Friday Night Lights the first season. I haven't watched it as much this year, but have caught the last few episodes. Good show.

I only watch CSI las vegas, too. it is so much better. The other casts just don't do it for me.

I totally want to see Gone Baby Gone now. I always fall asleep in theaters though, I might have to wait for it to come on Netflix.

I want to see both though so I get the title of your post.

I really wanted to watch GG, but can't get it to work on my laptop and never seem to watch it during the week. Is it really like Felicity??

Miss...It might not be as good as Felicity, but it's pretty fun.
