Those of you who know my brother will know what I'm talking about when I say I feel like "a runner" lately. You know, an errand girl. There are so many little things that I need to get done around here, around my car, around my body--everywhere. I just sat down with the yellow pages, my phone, and my calendar. and got to work.I'm having the windows tinted in the passatt--the sun is hurting my baby.
I'm having my couches cleaned.
I'm having ceiling fans hung.
I'm sending my computer away. (It will be back)
I'm going to decide on a color to paint my walls.
I'm going to find someone to paint my walls.
I also need to buy a wedding shower gift, clean my house, and find someone new to cut and color my hair. I'm so upset that Katya (my stylist) has moved to SF. I guess if I were desperate, I could go down there and leave the baby with Ryan for a few hours, but I'm not sure I'm that desperate. Maybe I am. I've tried two new people since Katya left and I haven't liked either one, although I'm sure they are nice people.
We are having our family pictures taken at the end of October. Ryan's parents gave us a gift certificate to their family photographer for our birthdays, so we are going to fit in a small photo shoot during our Halloween visit to Orange County. Ryan wants to take the pictures at mission in San Juan Capistrano, so I guess we will. I have no idea what we will wear. Perhaps colors that are reminiscent of Fall.
I know I'm supposed to butt out of Ryan's work life, but I have to say that I HATE the word "meeting" and everything that goes with it. Why so many meetings?

it feels like the list never ends, huh. i also hate looking for a new stylist! i still haven't found "the one" yet. why is it so hard? you would think that we pay them enough that there should be a good selection of decent ones. i'm glad to know that isn't just my dilemma. and tell me if tinting your windows makes a big difference for lilly - i have been debating getting it done as well.
okay, did my mom say anything to you about renting a beach house in carlsbad the week you guys were here in October? Or did I dream that??
Can't wait to hang out again.
We need to get family pictures someday. It just seems like so much effort to get myself + Isobel + Alan coordinated...maybe this year for Christmas. I'm excited to see your's. Jen, you're so on top of it. Look at that productive list.
