A first...

Lilly (and her parents) made it through her first plane ride in one piece. She was such a good baby. She slept from the time we left the apartment until we got on the plane, had a little food, and then was out again until we landed.

Meanwhile, Ryan's working his a** off to get all the gear where it needs to be. We learned the hard way (after we jammed the security belt) that carseats need to go through the scanner thing UPSIDE DOWN. Now we know. As I was following behind Ryan on the way to the rental car, I couldn't help thinking how much like a Sherpa on his way up Everest he looked as he lugged all our stuff through the terminals. It's definitely not business travel. No siree.

So, we are looking forward to a few days hanging out the family in Orange County. I'll post pics soon.

That is so funny. I always get mad when I'm behind people like you in security. But if I'm behind Lilly, it's a different story! I need to see her soon. I hope she has fun on her first trip! Take her to the beach. Did you pack her swimnming suit?

Jen! That is so funny about Ryan in the security line. I can't wait to see LJ again :) That's what I'm going to call her too. I might be coming down on Friday with Bro and Sis O. :)
