The curse of the pinky and "Operation get my body back"...

On the plane--I look crazy...ignore it.

Cute cousins

Juice, Lon, Lilly, and Ryan after dinner at our favorite--Houston's.

Lon looks like movie star. I look like I could use some mascara.

Our little family.

We had a great weekend with Ryan's family, but are now back and ready to dive head first into our move.

I think.

Moving really sucks. It just does. We are hoping to get our keys by Friday (very exciting) and I have yet to pack one single, solitary thing. It's hard to pack with an eight week old--especially one who WON'T TAKE A PACIFIER. I'm afraid I doomed us all when I started giving Lilly my pinky way back at the beginning of her life. As a result, she's not a fan of the bink. I've tried a few different brands and she's not interested in any of them. She will take the Avent ones every once in a while, but there's no rhyme or reason to when she'll take it. I guess she has to be in the mood?

We went back to the gym today. Me to a step class and Lilly to the play center. The pictures from our weekend down south don't lie--I'm chubby. Some might say fat. I need to get it together and lose the flab. Our gym is sort of a mini-country club and we are lucky enough to find room for it in our newly slimmed down budget. Anyway, it offers a little more than weights and cardio and one of those things is an amazing kids program. They require that all infants under twelve months have an appointment so that they can give the little ones the attention they deserve. I felt more than ok with leaving her for the 30 minutes it took me to realize that I was VERY out of shape. I was huffing and puffing like never before. It's been nine months since I've done a lick of exercise and I'm paying for it now. It's pricey.

Speaking of pricey. I found a ten dollar bill on the ground this morning. I do that a lot--find money on the ground. I once found a hundred dollar bill in the parking lot outside of Chevy's. Ask Ryan, it's amazing how it always happens to me.

Jen! The cutest family. Lilly is adorable. Moving does suck. We moved about the time Isobel was 8 weeks old too. Isobel never took a binky either. I tried and tried, and no success. Anyway, I love all the pics. She is looking so much older.

Oh man, binkless babies are very hard. I was persistent with all three of mine and none of them ever took one. So sorry.

I have no idea how you are managing a move with a newborn and squeezing in the gym on top of it! You're awesome Jen.

It was so fun hangin with you this past weekend. Lilly's a cutie pie.
