So, I'm trying my best to be a fashionable pregnant woman, but I've about had it. It's getting too hard. I'm over pants that button below my belly and I'm really over maternity pants--they fall down ALL DAY. I need suspenders. My belly is getting just big enough now that most of the longer shirts I bought at Brass Plum and Target aren't cutting it anymore. A little bit of my belly is poking out of all of them. I just want to stay in my pajamas all day (or elastic waist pants) and not wear a bra. By the time i've gotten ready for a day out and about, I feel like I've just run a marathon. I'm out of breath, my body aches, and I'm ready for a nap. Needless to say, the end of my teaching days came at just the right time--it's too hard to move around these days and even harder to look put together.

I should have kept up my work out routine. Why didn't I? Oh yeah, I felt like I had been hit by a truck for the first...oh...8 weeks of my pregnancy. My "feel good" window only lasted a few weeks in the middle of my second trimester. I'm back to being beat everyday.

I can't sleep. I'm tired and I want to sleep, but I can't. This latest symptom started in Vegas and has not relented. I toss and turn until about 2am every night and then I finally fall asleep--just as everyone around me is waking up and starting their day.

I don't mean to be a bummer about this whole pregnancy thing, but it just isn't for me. I'm way too wimpy. I'm ready for it to be over and the baby to be here.

I should have kept working out. Did I say that already? Next time...next time.

I had a great time on my road trip with my mom. She was a trooper and drove every single mile of the trip. I was too busy complaining about my restless leg syndrome.

We got home Tuesday afternoon and my mom was so great to stay in Sac one extra night to help me get the baby's room ready. I'll post before and after pictures soon, but we got a lot done. We painted, put the crib together (which is a task neither one of us wants to attempt again), set-up the changing table, and cleaned. I only have a few little things to do and it's pretty much ready for a baby!

I'm in the middle of doing laundry--Gotta go.

Oh - I remember putting Savannah's crib together. Talk about a nightmare. The directions were in French. I cannot wait to see pictures of it! Hang in there. We don't have much longer to go.

Don't have too much to say about being prego or how many baby books I've read but I do have to say Jen you are beautiful!
Take THAT!
Can't wait to see you Saturday night!

First of all, you are a total cute prego. Second, where in the world do you find your pregnant clothes? I am having the hardest time finding things!

I feel you on the exercise routine thing - mine went out the window once the nausea kicked in. I figured I would start it up once the "good feeling time" came, but I have yet to reach that time. I'm not keeping my hopes up!

Post some pics of the baby's room soon. Do you guys have names picked yet, or are they a secret?

I'm freaking out wanting to see the baby's room. Please post tonight.

And you're also one of the mostly nicely put together pregnant women I've seen. And I've seen quite a few, I think.
