It's Saturday again. I'm horrible about blogging during the week, but it takes everything I have just to get through the day with my high schoolers. They suck everything out of me. The good news is that I'm finished with my University course work! FINALLY. So, now I only have to worry about what I'm going to do on a daily basis with the crazy ones.
We are starting The Crucible in 11th and we just finished up Lord of the Flies in 10th. Flies went ok, but I'm VERY excited about The Crucible. We'll see if my students are inspired by my interest.
We went and got our tree this morning. Ryan brought his gloves again--just in case the guys at Home Depot were too busy to help us. Ryan picked out the perfect tree and now it's up in our living room awaiting the decorations. Ry went golfing, so I'm debating what to do next. A nap sounds nice, actually.
We have XM satellite radio in our apartment and it's awesome. They added all these great Christmas stations and we've been listening non-stop. It beats paying for new cds on itunes and it's way better than listening to actually cds--you never have to get up to change anything.
I went to the Dr. yesterday. I'm 23 weeks this week and things are progressing nicely, I guess. I have absolutely nothing to compare it to, so if the Dr. says I'm fine, I believe him. My appointment was nice and short--just long enough to hear the hearbeat and get the directions for my glucose test next week. This test sounds miserable, but whatever.
I need to take a nap.
