What's wrong with ho-ho's and Dr. Pepper for breakfast?

I'm not embarrassed to say that this morning I had a ho-ho and a Dr. Pepper for breakfast. I'm really working on making sure my baby is getting all the proper nutrients. Really though, breakfast is tough for me. The LAST thing I want to do at 5:30 in the morning is eat. NOTHING sounds good at that time of day. Now that I'm pregnant, i can't go long without eating. In the old days, I used to go all morning without eating a thing and I'd be fine. Oh, no more. I wake up hungry (but unable to eat) and it goes on from there. I'd like to add a caveat here--I didn't gain ANY weight my first trimester. We'll see what the scale reads in a few weeks. This morning's breakfast might come back to haunt me.

Ryan is modeling for me. He went to REI today in preparation for his Africa trip and loaded up on all kinds of new gear. He's going to Africa for goodness sake, so I'd say he's entitled. Right now he's wearing his Northface jacket, a longsleeve shell, and a pair of pants that turn into shorts. Whoa...now he's bringing out the big guns. He got a pair of backpacking boots. Fun stuff. Ryan never gets "items" for himself, so I'm glad he went out and did this--he deserves it. Oh dear. Now's he modeling his polartec tights. Let's just stop right there...ok?

I'm tired. It was a long day. Tomorrow is going to be an even longer day. I have SOOOOOO much to do. I'll spare you the boring details. I read over some of the unprepared students' essays today. I'll post a few excerpts tomorrow.

I have never posted on your blog before...but just had to this time. By the way I am Devin's Aunt. Happy to hear the breakfast menu today. Brings back many a pregnant memory when Ding Dongs and Coke where my staples. When you find something that works on that upset tummy you just have to go with it! Good Luck! Tracy

Oh my gosh, JENNIFER! Guess what I had for breakfast yesterday! Hostess cupcakes and Dr. Pepper! We are totally sisters.

Except I am not pregnant so I have no excuses for eating that at 8:30 in the morning...

Breakfast if my favorite meal of the day. I am obsessed with cereal and look forward to eating it every morning. That is so cool your husband is going to Africa. You are so lucky he modeled his tights for you, that is something my husband would do. Hilarious. I want to know the sex of your baby!
