A lazy Saturday...

Ryan's in LA for the weekend and so I've been on my own today. It was hard, but I made the best of it. One of my favorite things in the world is NOT waking up to an alarm clock. There really is nothing better. I think I finally got up around 10am this morning. Of course, I woke up with a major headache, but it was worth it.

After lounging around for a few hours, I went out for a few things. A few of my favorite things. I started off with a pedi and mani, and ended with Thai take-out. I have to get Thai food when Ryan's not around--he doesn't like it. Today seemed like the perfect day, especially since my favorite Thai restaurant just opened a new location right down the street from us!

Ohhhhhhh...I have so much work to do. Right now, I'm watching t.v.--anything to avoid the impending doom.

My life is so boring...I have nothing to say.

Except how much I love my new computer. I'm on it right now. I love it. I love Ryan for surprising me with it. My life has changed since I got this thing. I can't imagine what I did without it.

Pregnancy's going fine. I'm 16 weeks. We have an appointment on October 24, but I don't think they'll be able to tell us what the sex is. I kind of like not knowing what it is. It makes it easier for me to not obsess over it. Plus, once I know what it is, all I'll want to do is shop for it. Ryan's not too excited about that. He told me I couldn't do that. So, I told him I don't want to know what it is. He said he'll have the doctor tell him and not me. Whatever. Maybe not wanting to know is just my way of still avoiding the whole thing. Mabye not. I have no idea.

I need to take my first pregnant belly photo, but I need Ryan to take it.

I'm so glad you were able to relax and pamper yourself a little with a mani and pedi. So necessary when you are pregnant and WORKING!

We didn't find out what Samuel and Serena would be until they came out and it was really the most exciting and naturally given surprise. Think about what else in nature is such a surprise. Maybe the caterpillar goes into the cacoon and has no idea of its future self. But we humans have figured out so much. We know the shape of the Earth, we've named all the different types of clouds, it's an exception when a new species is discovered. It's possibly the last remaining, non-monetary, happy surprise available to us humans.

Wow. I never would have guessed. You always seem to shower when I see you. And you always have the best smelling shampoo too.
Please do take a belly photo. What are you? Four months? Come on Jennifer. Your pampering sounds great too.
