This past week, we've been to two restaurants that I really love, but refuse to wait at, so we don't go very often. On Tuesday night we went to the Cheesecake Factory. Ryan's mom took us and since it was a Tuesday night, there was no wait. I'm not big on waiting at restaurants. When I go out to eat it's because I'm hungry right then, not two hours from then. Plus, I hate going to restaurants that are "trendy." the Cheesecake Factory is a really big deal around here. I've only been there twice, but it's fun to go somewhere where there is so much to choose from.
Ryan and my dad went golfing yesterday and my mom and I went to the mall. When we all met up again, I suggested we have an early dinner and go to Bucca di Beppo--another place I really like, but refuse to wait at. I actually forget how much I like this place. I think I like it so much for one reason--it doesn't taste like restaurant food. It's the closest thing to the little Italian restaurants in North Beach (SF) we've ever had. We always get the lemon chicken, green beans, and ravioli pomodoro. Ryan LOVES their green beans. I think its one of the only leftover foods he'll eat--green beans from Bucca di Beppo. Random.
Anyway, we are ready to burst after such a food-filled week. It'll probably be months, if not years, until we frequent either of these establishments again, but we'll always have the memories.
