Soon to be released and at the top of my list...

Half Nelson
-- It stars Noah from The Notebook (Ryan Gosling). Need I say more? If you need convincing, read this Slate article.

Trust the Man
-- I love everyone in it. And I love movies set in New York. Good enough for me.

Fur
-- This is a biopic (sort of) of Diane Arbus. We saw the Diane Arbus exhibit when it was at the SF Moma last year and it was truly amazing. Her photography is a trip. Nicole Kidman bugs, but I'll see this movie anyway.

The Black Dahlia
-- Everyone will be seeing this-it's Hillary Swank's first attempt at a glamorous role. I'm sure she'll be awesome.

Children of Men
-- Um...freaky. What if women stopped giving birth to children? This movie explores that and in London no less!

The Last Kiss
-- Like Ryan Gosling, Zach Braff is enough to get me to see it. And Rachel Bilson and Casey Affleck and Blythe Danner and Tom Wilkinson and....GET THE SOUNDTRACK NOW!!!!

Running with Scissors
-- This movie looks so good I can hardly stand watching the trailers--it makes me crazy with anticipation.

Hollywoodland
-- I'm ready for Ben Affleck to make his comeback. Plus, I like Adrienne Brody and his big nose.

One final note...
I'm a bit disappointed that they've cast Keira Knightley to play the lead in the adaptation of my favorite book of all time. Atonement is being made into a movie, but I'm worried I'll hate it.

I had that same reaction to the making of Atonement. ugh. I don't know if there is any actress I would trust to take on that role though.

The Last Kiss looks so good!!!! I am obsessed with Zach Braff. To bad Mandy dumped him...oh well. and I love Jacinda Barrett. She was in the Bridget Jone's sequel (she was Rebecca). FYI: she is also a Real World Alum- London. Anyways, can't wait. Amen to Keira Knightly. She has a weird jaw thing going on. She bugs.
