Hi Jen - I am Delynn's friend, and I met you at Missy's Shower. I am unable to click on your link, but this sounds like the tragedy that occurred when I was in Boston last week. The heat was unbearable. I had so been looking forward to cooling off from what we had been suffering with in SoCal, but it was like jumping from that old frying pan into the fire. It was close to 105 during the day, and the extreme humidity made the "index" (whatever that is!) 110. This particular night, many people left Fenway Park in ambulances due to heat stroke. This poor young woman (29) collapased and was rushed to the hospital to no avail. Luckily the baby was saved, as she was seven months along. She apparently did have some health issues that contributed to her demise, but I just felt horrible for her family. I saw the husband interviewed on TV, and he just looked shell-shocked. Indeed, it truly is "so sad..."
I live in California with Ryan and our babies: Lilly and Cal. I was a high school English teacher, but now I'm a mom. I like good books, laughing with my family, and pretty things.

Hey Je, the best teachers know that it is unnecesarry to reinvent the wheel. Check out these sites for literature circle/novel study guides:

Good Luck,

My goodness that is sad. The way it reads it sounds like she was struck by a baseball, since she was at a park. That's true tragedy.
