I never in a million years would have thought that I'd be more interested in reading pregnancy magazines and the stupid What to Expect...book than the latest New Yorker or In Style. I'm so lame.
But...
I can tell you ANYTHING about any of the 2006 stroller models--pretty much all brands. And, I can tell you that moms on the east coast prefer Balmex, while west coast moms prefer Desitin. Who knew? I can tell you all kinds of other interesting stuff, but I'll spare you. I'll spare myself, actually. I should really be picking up a novel...I mean, really.
I've also prided myself on being all-knowing when it came to celebrity gossip, the hottest new contemporary fiction novel, or the must-see tv show on cable. These days, however, my radar has slipped and I'm learning about the Kate Hudson/Chris Robinson break-up from my mother! Clearly, I need to get busy reading up on my favorite celebrity and culture blogs. It just takes so much more energy than I'm willing (or able) to extend to click my way around these blogs--or anyone else's blog for that matter. I'm way behind in my blog reading--I'm starting to get that feeling like it's just too late, I've gone too long to even think about catching up.
When it comes to lesson planning, I'm playing mind games with myself. I'm pretty much just ignoring it all together and hoping for a miracle come next week. I'm determined to have my first week planned out, but after that, it's anybody's guess how'll I'll make it through.
Who's watching Project Runway? I am, and it's so good. I dislike Vincent very much and I'm really bummed that the judges auf'd Alison over him. He's creepy and his designs are NOT good. I think Michael is great and I really like Laura's designs even if she is a little snobby.

lmaI just finished watching 3 episodes of project runway on my TIVO. It wa so good. I only started watching it because of you and now Devaughn and I are hooked. I was so sad to see Alison go.
I watched the first few, but then we went to Europe and then we moved here and we are finally getting cable installed TODAY. So I have missed out on the past few episodes. I guess I could pay iTunes and catch up. we will see. I have been keeping up on the website though, which maybe kind of ruins it...?
I was livid when they kicked off Alison. The only reason they chose Vincent over her was because Vincent is crazy and causes more drama and that equals more money in stupid Heidi Klums size 2 pocket. I was literally yelling at the t.v. Michael is my favorite. He is my pick to win.
That's seriosuly what happens, Jen. Your life becomes consumed with what stroller is better, etc...it's a whole new world.
