A brief from the 351...

Man, oh man. Let me get it out right now, before everyone starts asking me how my project went. I didn't get to my project, ok. I had wanted to get to it, but I ended up working all weekend and then I had school work to catch up on and so, I didn't get to sew. Hopefully, I'll get to it this weekend.

Today is Tuesday. Ryan is leaving tonight for...I forget where, actually, but it's for work. He'll be back on Thursday. I'll miss him like fish miss water. I will. He's the best.

It's been like Christmas around here lately. We are getting all kinds of cool things. So far the coolest thing we've gotten are these beautiful frames for our diplomas. They are so, so pretty. Ryan hung them up in our "office" last night and we just sat on the bed and stared at them and felt so proud of ourselves for earning them. They really are great. They're hung a little crooked, but I'll fix them. Mine is a little cooler than Ry's because it features the capitol and it's signed by Arnold Schwarzenegger. Ryan's is signed by Pres. Hinckley--that's cool too.

OH! We also got TIVO!!!!! I'm so excited because there are few things that bring me as much pleasure as the new fall season on tv. I don't really watch that much tv because I get annoyed when I miss an episode of one of my favorite shows and then I have no way to catch up. But now, I CAN RECORD THEM ALL. I've already set it up to record The Gilmore Girls, House, The O.C., and a couple of PBS documentaries on Ernest Hemingway and F. Scott Fitzgerald. Next week will be even better with NBC and ABC starting their seasons. And Oprah!! I can record them all--everyday. Fun, fun, fun.

I hope everyone loved the story about the spider--the one posted below. I've read it so many times and each time I laugh and laugh. So funny.

Anywho...

I have to go to work now because I'm a worker.

And, I have to go find my cat, Pip. He has learned how to escape the apartment by pushing the screen out of the large window in the living room. He literally pushes it out with his little pink nose and runs for freedom. At least until he hears someone coming and then he freaks out and runs back in, jumping through the very window he worked so hard to get out of, and back into the tiny apartment he had wanted to free himself from.
