I got a new phone recently. A Blackberry Pearl. I really have no business with a phone like this. I do not have a job that requires I be on high alert at all times. But, I wanted to be able to check my email...you know, see who's out there trying to chat with me.I told Ryan I got the new phone and he said that I now have NO excuse to not respond to his emails immediately. To that, I say, Um...hold on there big guy. Just because I have a Blackberry now, does not mean I will be available at all hours of the day. I don't work like that. I need space.
It's a pretty bad ass phone though. Email me. I'll read it on my Blackberry and then proceed to not respond for a few days.
A blackberry means that you need to respond to emails at 3am. No fun. But hopefully your husband will not be as demanding as my boss and show a bit of compassion.

JEN... for the love of god. if you're not going to respond to my emails promptly, as if they were SMS text messages, why did you buy a ridiculously overpowered phone with features you do not, in a million years, need?

I am the same way- I need my space. I don't even like to have my cell phone by me most of the time. I will take calls when I am ready, thank you very much!
